The Can Can Ride is our annual charity ride with 100% of your entry fee going to Ozarks Food Harvest! Our sponsors contribute money and services to the event and help to make it even better.
Bicycle Outlet for donating their time and some basic supplies to provide the first wave of cyclists with pre-ride support, and then they take their station to the rest stop in Republic to help those that have issues during the ride.
Fry Properties donates the food or gift certificates for after the ride, the goodies for the rest stops, and more!
Rider support during the ride out on the route is covered by some friends and family that are willing to drive the route to check on our cyclists, to help them with on the spot maintenance, or to even pick them up and take them to a rest stop or to the finish line.
Several of our local friends help during registration, at the rest stops, setting up the lunch during normal years and more!

Q: Can I leave earlier than the scheduled ride time?
A: Yes, the routes are marked. The rest stops may not be open when you ride by...
Q: Can I ride a different route?
A: Yes, but we may not be able to provide support if you're off route, and the rest stops may not be open when you ride by...
Q: Is there a t-shirt or other swag?
A: We are considering offering a t-shirt for an additional fee. If we can find some sponsors willing to donate swag we'll give it to you, but at this time there is not.
Q: Can I show up and ride for free?
A: The roads are free and open. Please don't use our rest stops, call for rider support, or expect a goody bag. Also, please consider that this is a very affordable ride and 100% of your entry fee goes to help feed hungry neighbors.
Q: I don't have a way to download the route. Will I get lost?
A: Maybe. The route will be marked on the roads, but it is possible to miss the markings and go off route. Try to find someone willing to stick with you during the ride that has the route loaded. If that can't be done, or they drop you, then use your smart phone GPS and plot a course for familiar territory.
Q: Will you all try to use my information to send me real estate information?
A: No. This is about riding bikes and helping a good cause.
Q: Will you have a presentation to try to convince me that I should use you for my real estate needs?
A: No. This is about riding bikes and helping a good cause.
Q: Why is it called The Can Can Ride?
A: Well... Some food is canned? Because you can do this? Because you shake your can can when you pedal?
Q: Am I supposed to bring a food donation?
A: You may, but we don't expect it or require it.
Q: Can I pay $20 for the ride and donate more?
A: Yes, and we'll make sure it gets to Ozarks Food Harvest! Thanks for asking!
Q: I don't/can't ride. Can I help?
A: Yes! Email us at t@2frys.com or r@2frys.com or text/call us at 417-234-7350 or 417-889-3558 or Facebook Messenger us.
Q: Will there be social distancing?
A: You're all adults. Respect each other's space if they ask you to. Typically on a bike ride we are pretty well spaced.
Q: What about masks?
A: They are not required. If you want to wear one please do. If you don't want to wear one then don't. Please respect those who believe differently.
Q: Can I donate and not ride?
A: Yes!
Q: How do I register?
A: Show up at the event before your ride time, sign a waiver and pay.
Q: Where does the event start?
A: Graceway Baptist Church, 5010 S Farm Road 135, Springfield MO - Farm Road 135 is also called Golden.
